Outdoor Pool (Seasonal)

Pool party! Our unheated outdoor pool is available for use from June - September, weather permitting. Use of the pool is at guests’ own risk. Safety equipment is available.

Dog Friendly

We know how much it means to be able to spend your holidays with all your family members - including your furry friends! We are happy to welcome up to 3 well-behaved pets into our farmhouse at any one time. Please be sure to notify us upon booking.

Outdoor Fire Pit

Roast marshmallows & tell stories around the outdoor firepit - a surefire sign that long summer nights are finally here. We recommend bringing your own firewood for your stay as we may

Our beautiful farm is the perfect setting to disconnect and reinvigorate. Whether you want to visit the farm animals, retreat into the forest or wander along country roads, you’re sure to find your calm.

Indoor Hot Tub (Seasonal)

Cool nights and snowy surroundings call for a relaxing soak in our spacious 8-person indoor Nordic hot tub. Skylight allows for romantic star-gazing. The hot tub is available for use in the colder months from September - June. We do extend these dates for a nominal fee. Inquire directly for this extra service.

Expansive Deck & Pergola

With plenty of space for extra tables, outdoor dining and relaxing is taken to a new level on our wrap-around deck. Chill with a book in the hammock or grill up a storm for friends & family.

Historic Town & Local Culture

The town of Marmora and Lake and the surrounding area showcase the area’s mining history and local food & art scene. There are also nearby local restaurants, breweries and wineries to discover.

Cozy Fireplace

Our rustic stone wood-burning fireplace is the best way to warm up after a winter’s day activities. Firewood bundles can be added to your stay for a small fee - see our add-ons below!

Water Access & Equipment

Greet the sun with an early (or late) paddle, straight from the dock. We supply kayaks and other water craft and life jackets for our guests free of charge.

Rejuvenate and refresh with a cold plunge! Ideal for an invigorating experience, our cold plunge tubs are perfect for promoting wellness and revitalizing your body.

Farm Animals & Tractor Rides

Visit our lovely farm friends! We have an adorable herd of alpacas on the farm, grazing in their pasture or hanging out at the barn! You can also take a ride on our tractor

Off-Season Hot Tub - $250

From mid-September to mid-June our jacuzzi is kept clean and filled. If you’d like to use the jacuzzi outside of these times, let us know in advance.

Human Bumper Bubbles

Perfect for our renters and retreats, these inflatable bubbles bring laughter and excitement to any gathering. Bounce, bump, and play in a safe and fun way!

It felt very private and my guests and I had a great time by the water, and utilizing the backyard for games and enjoying the summer weather. Guests were comfortable within the rooms and there was enough room to even entertained everyone indoors.

House Info

The quant little town of Marmora is about 2 hrs from both Toronto and Ottawa; 1 hr 20 from Kingston; about 40 minutes east of Peterborough.
We have no minimum night stay requirement but you won’t want to leave after one night, we promise.
Be sure to bring blankets, towels, pool towels, bug spray, and toiletries. Comfy slippers for wintertime and as basketball if you want to shoot hoops in the summertime. We provide sheets, pillow cases, and hand towels for the kitchen and bathrooms.
Head out on the Crowe River in the single or double kayak, paddle board, or canoe. Paddles are provided. We have a variety of lifejacket sizes for adults and kids, however if you require a specific size, please bring it along. There’s a basketball net in the driveway - bring your ball if you want to shoot hoops.
